In the Faculty of Science - Department of Exercise & Health, Sports Medicine - the following position is to be filled as soon as possible
Postdoctoral Researcher (f/m/d)
(Salary level 13 TV-L)
- with 100% of the regular working hours. This is a qualification position within the meaning of the Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz
(WissZeitVG), which serves to support the scientific qualification in the post-doctoral phase in the field of “concussion”. The position
is initially limited to a period of 3 years (extension possible).
Field of activity:
- Analysis, interpretation, and publication of data from different collaborative projects (UEFA, NAKO, etc.) investigating sport
- associated concussions as postdoctoral researcher involving clinical, mechanistic, epidemiological and neurophysiological
parameters in the setting of screening, diagnosis and/or management.
- Supervision of PhDs and projects in the field of sports-associated head injuries
- Teaching responsibilities (4 SWS)
Recruitment requirements:
- Scientific university degree (Master's) and doctorate in sports medicine, sports science or related/relevant disciplines in the field
- of sports-associated head injuries
- Experience in the analysis & publication of data, preferably in the field of head injuries in sports
- Statistical expertise and experience in working with databases (e.g., RedCap)
- Desire to establish own research profile, laboratory and scientific qualification (habilitation) in the area of sport-associated head
- injuries
