**About our client**

Our client, a corporate venture capital firm within the TMT industry, is looking for a portfolio manager to join their German team.
As a key member of our client's team, you will take on significant responsibilities as an experienced finance professional in managing and overseeing portfolio companies. This role encompasses not only administrative oversight but also follow-on financing and M&A considerations. **What the job involves**
- Serve as a key member of our client's operational team, bringing your expertise as an experienced finance professional and investor
- Oversee and manage portfolio companies, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial performance targets
- Provide administrative oversight, ensuring effective operations, compliance, and reporting for portfolio companies
- Facilitate communication and alignment across teams, acting as a central point of coordination to ensure smooth execution of strategic priorities
- Drive special projects and initiatives on behalf of the management team, taking ownership from planning to implementation

**Who we are looking for**
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Professional experience in venture capital and start-up ecosystem, including board leadership mandates (e.g., Board seat, Board Observer)
- Comfort operating within or at the interface of a DAX-listed corporation, with the ability to navigate and manage interactions confidently and independently
- High degree of efficient, self-directed work, with initial experience in team leadership
- Outstanding analytical skills, strategic thinking, and exceptional attention to detail
- Strong self-confidence with excellent presentation skills, capable of distilling complex and varied information into digestible decision-making materials, highlighting key decision points
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
