What you’ll do: As a Legal Counsel you will primarily focus on providing day-to-day inhouse legal counsel support to Northland’s German service organisation and Northland’s offshore windfarm project. The role is based in Hamburg. Key Responsibilities - Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including complex contracts for the operation and maintenance of windfarms, as well as other project-related contracts with suppliers and service providers - Supporting the relevant corporate functions and advising on a wide variety of legal issues including contracts for work and services, commercial and corporate law, and energy law - Working closely together with different departments, in particular, contract & claim management and procurement and external stakeholders - Providing legal support and advice on dispute management and resolution - Advising on legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate such risks - Preparing updates on legal developments and conducting internal trainings - Providing support to maintaining relevant permits for the operation of windfarms and complying with grid connection conditions - Being an integral member of Northland’s global legal team Who you are: - Methodical and organised: You naturally work in a methodical way and relish the opportunity to add structure and order to your work.
