For our Business Unit E-Mobility we are now looking for a
**Data Protection Coordinator**:
for our office in **Berlin, Hamburg** or **Munich**.
**Your job as a Data Protection Coordinator**
The core responsibility of the Data Protection Coordinator (DPC) is to advise, identify and coordinate the data protection activities within the business unit E-mobility. The Business unit operates its business from several different legal entities in multiple jurisdictions.
The responsibility will amongst others include:
- participate in project development and provide advice on GDPR compliance
- have an overview of processing activities and maintain relevant records
- regularly perform and/or coordinate audits to monitor compliance
- draft, review and revise documents such as privacy statements, DPA´s et cetera
- support the DPO in case of data breaches
- assess, in cooperation with the internal legal department, if legal changes require adaptation of business processes and coordinate adaptation
- document activities and report to management and the relevant DPO
- raise awareness within the business unit of GDPR compliance
The role will also comprise activities such as:
- implementation of privacy checkpoints in local processes for project management and similar
- support in the execution of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and consult the DPO on the mitigation actions, if necessary
- implement guidelines and activities from Group into local organization
- participate in Vattenfall Group related initiatives where applicable
- provide relevant training and education to staff
The role will report to Director of Business Support, and the Data Protection Officers (DPO) in the countries were InCharge is operating, currently Sweden, Netherlands, and Germany. The role will be based in Berlin or Munich.
**Your profile as a Data Protection Coordinator**
A Data Protection Officer serves as the first line of defense for privacy related issues.
We therefore expect that you should have:
- at least Intermediate knowledge of GDPR and related privacy laws
- at least intermediate knowledge on related privacy laws - especially in digital businesses
- an independent drive (be able to make things happen)
- good communication skills
- fluent in English and German
As a person you should:
- be an independent person with a drive (to be able to make things happen)
- be able to work in a structured and methodical manner
- have the ability to solve problems and be analytical
The role require integrity as the work will be performed in the interface between DPO and management.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- knowledge in Dutch and/or Swedish
- Leadership experience, or skills
- Knowledge of other fields of the law than GDPR
- You are (or can become very quickly) known in the organization
