Field Quality Application Engineering Intern

Many projects provide the opportunity for learning semiconductor wafer fab and assembly processing while interfacing with design engineering, product engineering, test engineering and quality engineering groups.
**Responsibilities**:
- Self-driven analysis of TI datasheets and EVM user guides to understand key device specific functions and parameters
- Development of lab bench setups to evaluate customer reported failures across a wide variety of TI products spanning from analog power to analog signal chain devices
- Measurement of critical functional parameters to verify proper function of the device leverage different measurement equipment’s like oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators and temperature chambers.
- Proper documentation of the measurement results in standardized bench verification reports
- Build up an EVM database and maintain the logistics
QUALIFICATIONS
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (Final year student preferred but not required)
- Minimum internship duration 6 months, preferred extended to 8 months
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Hands-on experience with basic lab equipment, including power supplies, Digital Multi-meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Python scripting and/or LabView experience would be an advantage
- Understanding of circuit schematics and PCBs along with knowledge of passive components
- Good knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Point)
- Good English knowledge in speaking and writing
- Curious to investigate and analyze problems
