**Industry Driver - Aerospace Aluminium Specialist (M/F/d) - Location flexible worldwide**

Walter has an opening for an Aerospace Aluminium Specialist. In the role of this Industry Driver, you contribute to a competitive product portfolio by identifying market needs and profitable business growth opportunities. Your expert knowledge ensures that we provide the right solutions for the aerospace industry and secures our overall success within this sector.

**Key Performance Areas**
- Set direction for development of tool offering for Aerospace Segment for the coming 2-5 years
- Be the driving force behind Walter’s Aerospace initiatives
- Define, implement, and maintain the strategic roadmap of tools for the Aerospace sector
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential
- Identify opportunities aligned with our strategy based on customer needs and industry requirements
- Promote relevant products, solutions, and services to potential and existing customers to enhance market shares
- Close collaboration with Sales: Support sales execution of local opportunities by collecting and sharing best practices; develop effective ways of knowledge exchange
- Close collaboration with Product Managers, with the aim of implementing market and customer needs in component/feature/product specific solutions
- Documentation of information and creation of appropriate platforms for information gathering and exchange

**Your Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Five years of experience working with metal working products in the aerospace industry, preferably in aerospace structures manufacturing
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify long-term developments and trends
- Proficiency with training and presentation skills to large and small groups
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Ability to build, maintain and manage networks
- High communicative competence in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
