**Our Position**:
As a Mechanical/ Mechatronics Architect, your role is essential in contributing in challenging business cases and technical roadmaps from a mechanical and mechatronical perspective. You collaborate closely with other Architects, the Project Manager and the rest of the team, to ensure alignment and synergy. Your expertise lies in defining the complex mechanical and mechatronical architecture of a (sub)system and translating customer needs into specifications, budgets, and conceptual designs. Ensuring the quality of the delivered product (design) is also a key responsibility.
In addition, you actively build both internal and external networks, fostering relationships that contribute to the growth and success of the organization. You are at the forefront of introducing new technologies and solutions, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what is possible.
What you can expect:
- Engaging in a variety of high-tech projects,
- Continuity in the ultra-high-complex product portfolio, with roadmap driven development. The products will be realized in our own local factory.

- Being involved in product development from concept to operational product with focus on efficient series production, in the range from 10-1000 per year.

**Your Experience**:
- Your educational background, holding an MSc or PhD in Mechanics and/or Mechatronics.
- You have a proven track record in the field of Mechanics within high-tech machine and equipment design.
- You have at least 8 Years of relevant experience with multidisciplinary development projects
- You have a broad orientation and are not afraid to look over the boundaries of your current expertise
- You have excellent analytical skills and levels of abstraction
- You are skilled in the use of various analysis methods
- You have excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- You are a technical leader, and inspirational coach towards team members
- You have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of technical designs, mechanisms, precision mechanics, Design for Excellence
