**Your department**:
The Back Office Europe & US is the backbone of all commercial transactions. We are responsible for transaction validation, clearing and collateral, contract settlements, invoicing, provisioning and EU reporting for all commercial and origination transactions across Europe. In a fast-changing environment, we bridge the gap between our commercial departments and the finance units.
The Regulatory Operations Europe & US department is responsible for the analysis and execution of EU & US reporting for the energy and financial sectors. This includes regulatory reporting on EMIR, REMIT, MiFID as well as Dodd Frank.
**Your role**:
Your main activities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Implementation and development of EU & US reporting services for the Statkraft Group.
- Ensuring efficient regulatory reporting as well as high documentation and control quality
- Monitoring and analysing reporting and proposing process, system and/or automation improvements
- Follow-up and integration of regulatory changes into daily business processes
- Supporting the implementation of new business initiatives related to regulatory reporting and compliance
- Problem solving and troubleshooting data integrity and system issues that affect reporting
- Work closely with related business units such as Trading/Front Office, Compliance and IT.
**Qualifications**:
- Completed university/university of applied sciences degree or a comparable completed training course
- Ideally first relevant work experience
- Strong analytical skills, especially in relation to the interpretation of data
- Entrepreneurial thinking, proactive solution orientation, problem solving skills and a very accurate way of working
- Ability to produce reports and statistical information for different audiences
- Excellent interpersonal skills, reliable team player
- Business fluent in English and German
- Advanced computer skills, in particular demonstrable ability to manage complex data sets and perform data validations
- Strong service and customer orientation
