Company Profile:
Our client is an international company in the field of metallurgical
and rolling mill technology and a leading partner for the metal industry. As a family-owned business
they are headquartered in Germany.
The current head of Audit for EMEA region have mandated Audit International to find them a

Team
Currently the team is made up of the Global head of Audit and 4 other auditors. In this role you will
report directly to the head of Internal Audit.

Travel
You can expect travel up 30-40%

**Location**:
The office is based in Hilchenbach, Germany. (Flexible Home office is something the Head of Audit is
happy to discuss and allow)

**Language**:
English is a must and you must be fluent German

Job Title:
Senior Internal Auditor

Focus of Work:

- Internal audit tasks, amongst others analysis of business processes
- Development of audit programs with focus on operational audits like purchasing, supplier

qualification, project management etc.
- Worldwide execution of internal audits
- Report writing, predominantly in English
- Produce practical recommendations as well action plans
- Tracking of action plans / Follow-ups
- Consult the organization in designing business processes
- Where appropriate, support in managing policies, perform trainings and working on specific

compliance / fraud cases

Qualifications and Experience:

- High willingness to travel internationally
- Intercultural interest
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Degree in business or engineering, with a minimum of 3 years
- Relevant experience in internal audit from industry, from leading external audit or

consultancy firms
- Convincing motive for working in internal audit
- Motivation and persistence
- Team player
- Physically and mentally robust
- Motivated by intrinsic values rather than depending on praise from others
- Take responsibilities; being structured and organized
- Being able to work under time pressure
- Enjoy / being interested in continuously getting familiar with new themes
- Enjoy / being interested in continuously working in new environments, with few daily
