Some of your Benefits Cafeteria/ Canteen Flexible Work Models International Opportunities Performance Related Bonus Company Car - Weinheim - Hybrid Work Vileda Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung You support our team as DIRECTOR FINANCE & CONTROLLING GERMANY (F/M/D) **Responsibilities**: - Full P&L Management: Oversee full profit and loss management, including monthly reporting. - Strategic Decision Making: Provide the management team with relevant and necessary data and analysis for sound decision-making, contributing to the overall strategy. Monitor performance, evaluate risks and opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met. - Planning and Forecasting: Develop predictable plans and forecasts for Germany and present to regional and global management. - Team Leadership and Development: Lead, coach, and develop the direct finance team and indirect resources of the accounting shared services team. Implement changes in corporate standards, procedures, and guidelines. - Compliance and Integration: Handle statutory reporting, audits, legal, and insurance cases. Support the integration of new businesses and manage local and corporate projects. Act as the holder of the local power of attorney. Ensure all local practices align with financial, legal, and guiding principles. **Qualifications**: - Educational Background and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with over 7 years of experience in business controlling within a sales entity. Proficient in calculations, costing, process modeling, and KPI analysis. - Technical Proficiency: Fluent in English and German (speaking and writing). Expert-level proficiency in SAP and MS Office software. - Business and Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of FMCG business and financial processes of a Business Group, with extensive knowledge of financial and controlling implications (sales controlling and working capital) on both operational and strategic decisions. Proficient in Local GAAP and IFRS Accounting. - Core Competencies: Strong business acumen, problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work independently. Skilled in conflict management, building effective teams, and developing direct reports. - Leadership and Motivation: Proven ability to motivate others and lead teams effectively. Experience in handling statutory reporting, audits, and legal cases, while ensuring adherence to corporate standards and guidelines.
