HOW A DATA ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Performs data analysis, interpretation, and management duties. Develops rules and methodologies for data collection and analysis

Provides highly technical expertise in the use of Database Management System (DBMS).

Evaluates and recommends available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.

Serves as project manager for a large, complex projects (or a group of projects affecting the same common/standard/migration system)

Is responsible for the overall management of the specific project(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules are implemented in a timely manner.

Performs enterprise-wide horizontal integration planning and interfaces to other functional systems.

Direct and participate in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation, integration, testing and acceptance phases (Independent Verification &Validation (IV&V) and Development Test &Evaluation (DT&E)).

Analyze and define security requirements.

Design, develop, engineer, and implement solutions computer security requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, management, natural sciences, social sciences, mathematics or business/finance.
- Required Experience: This position requires a minimum of 12-years of experience, of which at least eight years must be specialized. Specialized experience includes: Database Management, Project Management, and Systems Engineering or associated Computer Security Systems support. General experience includes operations experience on a large-scale computer system or a multi-server local area network
- Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI
- Preferred Skills:

- DoDD 8570.01 IAT-II (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE and Datasys+)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Appropriate computing environment certifications
- TESA eligibility/certification required

Must complete and maintain a DoDD 8570.01M/DoDD 8140 IAT II certification, as well as appropriate computing environment certifications (e.g., CompTIA DataSys+) within 6 months of employment start.
