**Your role as a Cloud Architect**
As a Cloud Architect at BuildingMinds, you will be part of Buildingminds top-notch engineering team.
You will be responsible for leading the Buildingminds cloud computing strategy. As a Cloud Architect you will assist in the development and modernization of our software products. You must be proficient with microservices architecture, data streaming and cloud providers.

In detail you will *
- Be accountable for system integration and on-time delivery of complex cloud solutions.
- Specify and implement architectural guidelines and standards for cloud development.
- Define and implement design review processes to provide oversight of design and development activities.
- Establish and drive change management process for cloud deployments and manage risks associated with software deliverables.
- Help drive improvements and guidelines for observability in the platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop product roadmaps, create and maintain development timelines and communicating progress.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and champion efforts around software requirements, management, peer review and community of practice.
- Maintain transparent communications via regular one on ones, team meetings, messaging and other interpersonal communications among team members.
- Architect and support a heavily data-oriented product in collaboration with data analysts and scientists.

**We would like to hear from you if you**
- 7+ years developing services and APIs in microservice and event driven architectures
- Good knowledge of container-based deployments with Docker and Kubernetes
- Scaling high volume data services
- Database experience - SQL, noSQL, Ksql (cosmos, postgres, redis)
- Proficient understanding of universally available, event driven, scaled public cloud architectures.
- Software performance and load testing plus experience with industry standard test frameworks
- Firm understanding of system and component testing principles.

**Skills in and around the following technologies**:

- Proficient in Typescript - C#.
- Strong understanding of cloud core components such as Virtual Machines, Container Instances, Files, AD, Storage Service Encryption, Kubernetes, etc
- Familiarity with industry standard observability stacks such as Grafana, Loki, AppInsights, elastic search etc
- Experience in SaaS services and api best practices
- Docker, Container Instances or other container solutions
- DevOps integration - CI/CD tools and frameworks
- Load, performance, stress and soak testing
- Experience with static analysis tools and compliance tooling

**Bonus Points if you have experience with**:

- Kafka and Confluent platform
- Airflow
- Chaos engineering
- Python and go languages
