Join us and let's write our next chapter together. **What you will be doing**: - Launch and execute monthly preventative maintenance repair/work orders as per global maintenance system planning for GSE and material handling equipment - Create curative repair/work orders for curative maintenance and execute work for GSE and material handling equipment - Launch regulatory inspections as per legal requirements whatever on GSE and material handling equipment as well as on workshop equipment - Logging maintenance carried out on each asset and maintaining both system and physical records. - Order works to vendors when applicable and check proper execution - Collect and sign worksheets from vendors and encode accordingly in global maintenance system - Check invoices are correct for further approval by manager - Order spare parts when necessary, store and register accordingly - Ensure to keep workshop in good and safe condition and work safely at all times - Troubleshoot GSE equipment when failure disturbs operations, ensure to remove faulty equipment - Sporadically support other German locations with GSE issues - Ensure delivery and assembly of new assets and update global maintenance system accordingly - Identify cost saving opportunities - Report identified defects for analysis and further equipment improvement - Keep a great collaboration with internal customers and communicate in a solution oriented manner **What do you bring with you**: - Good technical knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and basic electricity - Autonomous working, curious and self-learning capacities - Ability to read and understand technical diagrams - Computer literacy and ability to easily use specific systems - Rigorous adherence to rules and procedures - Provide clear and summarized reporting when requested - Excellent communication skills in German and good communication skills in English - Positive attitude and problem-solving mindset to find the best solution for our customers and colleagues - Confidence, empathy, and friendliness to offer excellent experience to our customers **What do we offer**: - Attractive compensation package (13 salary payments per year) - An employer-funded company pension plan - Employee discounts at a variety of different companies - Training to get you started and on-the-job learning opportunities - Extensive learning resources to further develop your skills and knowledge - Tuition Assistance Program (*applicable for FedEx positions with a permanent contract) - Employee Assistance Program for you and your family in difficult life situations - Employee reduced-rate shipping **Tariff grading**: Salary Group K4, CLA Hessen Bring your ideas, individuality, and dreams to our global community.
