**Product Security Officer - Hybrid Role - Leipzig - €110K+**

I’m looking for a Product Security Officer to join an internationally leading technology firm generating billions of dollars in revenue every year. **You will be responsible for**:

- Coordinating with the global Information Security Manager on all information security and data protection matters throughout the entire lifecycle of medical devices.
- Bringing corresponding products into the scope of the existing ISO 27001 certification, when required.
- Coordinating with respective engineering teams & working very closely with product engineering teams, to enable them to address and implement security requirements.
- Create security concepts and document implemented security measures.

**Key aspects of the role**:
Headquarters in Leipzig. This role is a hybrid model & will require you to travel on-site/to client sites up to 50% of the time.

**Essential Skills**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in information security, IT security or IT, a comparable degree or comparable professional experience in information security; relevant certifications from the security field (e.g. CISM, CDPSE, CISSP or similar).
- Previous experience in the field of information security & data protection in a development environment.
- Technical experience in the area of product or IT security.
- Strong communication skills.

**Desirable**:

- Industry-relevant certifications.
- Medical devices & regulations, e.g. ISO81001, MDR2, FDA, etc.
- Experience in product development and engineering is a plus.
