**Your mission**:
Your future role at Kipu
- Setting a vision for how technology will be used in the company based on the company’s vision and business goals.
- As CTO, you will be responsible for the technology roadmap and technical leadership and excellence at Kipu.
- Leading all aspects of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, strategic planning, design/architecture, execution, deployment, and maintenance.
- Outline the goals for research and development.
- Managing technology area budget and costs.
- Building quality assurance and data protection processes, ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
- Interact with both internal stakeholders and key customers on their specific needs regarding Kipu algorithms, integration, and future features.
- Identify new trends and best practices in the technology landscape that can be leveraged for Kipu’s business strategy and keep us both current and future-driven.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. We expect you to be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts. If you are also an excellent communicator and public speaker then that’s a great fit

Is this you?

**Background**:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent degree
- 10+ years of professional experience overall with 5+ years tech leadership role
- Background in Software Engineering/Platform Engineering
- Experience building the reliable technology landscape in the hyper growth/scaling up phase in the start-up environment would be highly desirable
- Experience in building and managing engineering teams: size of 10-50 people

**Skills**
- Stakeholders’ management (C-level and above) and relationships building skills
- Customer-centric and data-driven mindset
- Drive for results and proactive hands-on approach when required
- People management/Leadership skills
- Our company language is English and we are internationally-focussed so English fluency is a given and ideally a good knowledge of German
