**Our Profile**:
At the IGMR, we are always looking for active support from student assistants for our research and cooperation with industrial partners. In keeping with our name, we work in the fields of transmission technology, machine dynamics and robotics and offer a wide range of possible topics.

In the FunkDAF research project, we are looking for a student assistant in April to assist with robot programming and other challenges. Depending on your strengths and interests, you can support the project in various areas.

**Your Profile**:

- Mechanical engineering, automation technology or comparable engineering or computer science studies in the third or higher semester
- Independent and structured way of working
- High level of motivation, willingness to learn and sense of responsibility
- Programming skills in Python and/or C++ required
- Knowledge of ROS 2 an advantage

**Your Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Robot programming
- Trajectory planning
- Collision avoidance
- Extruder control
- Other work in the project

**What We Offer**:
The position is to be filled by 4/1/2025 and offered for a fixed term of initially 1 year.
An extention is desired.
This is a part-time contract position.
The standard weekly hours will be 8-14 hours.
The salary is based on the RWTH Guidelines for Student and Graduate Assistants.
The position corresponds to a pay grade of 13.25 € per hour.
