Information Operations Planner

Key Role:
Integrate information-related capabilities (IRCs) into operational and exercise planning efforts, including assisting with their associated collection management, operational assessment plans, and exercises. Develop information operations plans, information products, decision briefings, and analytical papers to directly support operations and exercise planning teams and facilitate senior leadership decisions. Review concepts of operations and provide clear feedback for enhancing effects through integration, modification, or different approaches. Support production and execution of collection and assessment plans to enable and further phased Information Operation (IO) concepts, and conduct assessments of effects, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative analytic tools and techniques. Participate in various boards, cells, working groups, and Operational Planning Teams as required to enable IO integration. Assist with answering formal taskers and requests for information from other command directorates and aligned combatant commands.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with integrating information-related capabilities into operational or exercise planning efforts
- 2+ years of experience in developing IO plans at a 2-star or higher U.S. military command
- Experience with developing operational assessment methodologies including influence operations, metrics and decision criteria, and focused stakeholder data collection design and engagement
- Experience with preparing and presenting compelling, decision-quality briefings and reports for senior leadership
- Experience with using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience as a FA30 IO officer or Service role
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Master's degree preferred
