Direct Report: to Senior Director, Head of Commercial & Digital Partnering Services.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

Location: Open, UK, Germany, France, Italy or the USA linked with any of our office-based sites. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid or office-based working.
Role and Responsibilities for our Business Development Executive
As our business development executing you will be assisting the Business Development team in managing opportunities, identifying new potential partners, qualifying these partners, and generating initial leads.
Key Responsibilities
- You will handle assigned inbound partner enquiries, qualify leads and provide timely response to the potential partner.
- Provide full Business Development support of a small number of specific partners and partnering opportunities in collaboration with the territory Business Development lead.
- Working closely with Business Development, Operation, Legal, Finance, and any other internal stakeholders relevant to the sales process.
- Identify partners lists per event using various available sources (CRM, GlobalData, PitchBook etc.)
- Assist with updating and maintaining applicable databases (Salesforce).
- Responsible for Business Development attendance at events and organising meeting calendar and entry of meetings in ONE CRM.
- Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & Competencies
- A natural enjoyment of collaborating with people and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with “can do “mentality and ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent data capture and analysis standards as well as written and oral presentation skills. fluent in English.
- Customer oriented with an appetite for getting involved in the commercial side of science.
- Self-motivated, independent, enthusiastic, collaborative, reliable, able to multi-task with fine attention to details and a strong work ethic
Education and Experience
- Knowledge of the drug discovery & development process.
- Knowledge of the market and competition.
- Experience in proposal and quote preparation (preferable).
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- With excellent IT skills (to include Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Must be fluent in both written and oral English skills essential.
- Experience in leveraging databases and other knowledge bases to obtain additional market information (preferable)
