St George’s School is looking for a dynamic and caring Primary Teaching & Learning Assistant to join our primary department to start as soon as possible.
**The School**:
Serving the international community in Duisburg-Düsseldorf for over 10 years, St George’s School combines an enriching curriculum with family orientated care. The school has grown from small beginnings into a thriving community of over 600 pupils, aged from 2-18 and representing a broad range of nationalities.
The National Curriculum is taught throughout the school, and we offer the IB Diploma in our Sixth Form.

**The Role**:
We are seeking to appoint a Primary Teaching & Learning Assistant to work in our flourishing primary department.
Fluency in English and familiarity with the English National Curriculum are a prerequisite. A strong desire to contribute to the rich extra-curricular life of the department is also an advantage.
Given the growing and developing nature of the school, flexibility and the desire to support other team members is a essential. A strong desire to contribute to the rich pastoral and extra-curricular life of the school will also be an advantage.
Primary Teaching & Learning Assistants play an important role in monitoring pupil development. They keep careful track of pupils’ progress and maintain regular dialogue with parents.
