**Your role**

As an Accounting Specialist, you are a member of our Finance department. You will be a key member of the accounting team, assuming responsibility for diverse transactional tasks. You verify and ensure data quality in our accounting system, and maintain efficient processes & accounting operations. You trigger and support automation and improvement efforts in your area of expertise.

**Your future tasks at a glance**:

- Support the day-to-day business: You run daily operational tasks independently, e.g. booking of AR / AP, interact with our customers and suppliers, help with dunning process while reviewing and analyzing your own results.
- Ensure a high data quality in our accounting system and maintain efficient processes in our daily operations: You identify and correct errors in our automated processes and introduce controls and mitigation procedures. This includes bringing in your own ideas to improve our processes.
- Assist with our Financial Closing Process: You will be key in performing our Financial Closing Process to enable Munich Electrification Group to get effective financial reports. Furthermore, you will be one of our contact persons to our tax consultant and external auditors.

**What you bring with you**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance related field.
- You have 3+ years of relevant work experience in in corporate accounting, including AR and AP, vendor payments, and account reconciliations, or an accounting firm.
- Good knowledge of accounting according to HGB.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (spoken and written) in English and German.
- Very good skills in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
- Preferably working experience with SAP (ideally SAP Business ByDesign).
- Highly motivated, independent, detail-orientated and willing to take responsibility.
- A professional, proactive and service-oriented way of working.
