Head of Prototype Construction Aeronautical

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a technical manager within the development operation, you will work on the unmanned aerial systems (UAS) of tomorrow. In doing so, you will be responsible for and lead the area of electronic and mechanical sample and prototype construction, which you will also support operationally through your hands-on mentality.
- Your tasks:

- Disciplinary and technical leadership of highly qualified technicians and engineers
- Coordination and prioritization of activities within the prototyping department
- Technical consulting of the different development disciplines
- Development of solution concepts and execution of tests, with the aim of realizing a series solution
- Organization of the timely and professional production of sample and prototype components and their integration into the test environment
- Support of ground and flight tests in close coordination with the development and test team
- Further development of employees as well as improvement of processes, procedures and tools

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Completed studies in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable technical training
- Several years of professional experience preferably in the aviation sector
- Hands-on mentality as well as practical experience in the integration of devices or comparable
- Experience in the technical leadership of employees
- Analytical, structured and conceptual thinking and approach
- Very good communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
