**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop, plan, and deliver engaging Integrated Sciences lessons (Grades 6-10) and DP Subject Specific lessons (Grades 11-12) in alignment with the IB MYP and DP frameworks.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of curriculum content across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to Grade 10, including preparation for MYP eAssessments.
- Prepare students thoroughly for the DP examinations at the end of Grade 12
- Foster a dynamic, inclusive, and inquiry-based learning environment that promotes curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific literacy.
- Assess, monitor, and document student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support academic growth and development of Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills.
- Design differentiated learning experiences to meet the diverse needs, abilities, and interests of all students.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and pastoral care, and communicate progress effectively to students, parents, and leadership teams.
- Plan, document, and track units and lessons using ManageBac in accordance with school expectations.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and professional development activities.
- Support and promote the school’s ethos, mission, and values through your professional conduct and interactions with the community.
- Be available outside of lessons to provide additional academic support and guidance to students as needed.
- Stay current with IB curriculum developments and best practices in science education.
- Uphold and implement school policies consistently to ensure a safe and respectful school environment.

**YOUR QUALIFICATIONS**
- Full teaching qualification
- Three years teaching experience
- A minimum of two years experience in MYP with eAssessment knowledge
- A minimum of two years experience in the Diploma Programme.
- Completed Teaching qualification
- Interest in working in and being part of an innovative international team
- Openness for new ideas, readiness for future-oriented education
- Flexible and adaptable to new culture

**TEACHING PRACTICES**
- Treat all students equitably, fairly, and respectfully
- Inform students of learning goals, big ideas, essential questions and assessment criteria at the beginning of the unit and regularly revisit those elements
- Cover topics in depth, facilitating students’ active construction of meaning and promoting deeper understandings
- Ensure that teaching strategies, activities, and assignments are varied, engaging, and inquiry-based
- Use effective questioning, thinking routines, and feedback to encourage learners to think critically and reflect
- Evaluate own teaching critically to assess effectiveness

**CLASS MANAGEMENT**
- Model the IB Learner Profile
- Manage time, space, and resources effectively
- Establish a classroom culture conducive to learning with established agreements and a shared sense of purpose
- Ensure that students contribute actively to the effective functioning of classroom routines and share responsibility for making the classroom a safe learning environment

**WORKING HOURS**
- Contact hours 21.5 - 25.5 depending on final job offer. (full time =25.5 contact hours)
