As a 100% subsidiary of Allianz SE, IDS has stood for stability, reliability and certified security in the handling of its customers' data since 2001. 22100 | Asset & Investment Management | Professional | IDS | Full-Time | Permanent **JOB PURPOSE/ROLE** Technical Product Owner is an important role within the "Product Design and Development" department serving as the liaison between the different IDS teams responsible for design and implementation of customer products and services. The role aims to be involved in the development of new products within the IDS portfolio, as well as the enhancement of existing solutions. Your technical background will help to bridge the gap between the product and the technical side of product development. As a Product Owner, you will drive the vision for IDS customers and set the goals to maximize product value and customer experience. You will be the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, fostering seamless communication and clear collaboration. At the same time, you will work closely with cross-functional development teams to ensure they stay focused and on track. Your technical experience is the basis for working with the IT departments on individual and generic solutions that bring improvements, optimizations and support for new technical landscapes for digital products. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** - As a Technical Product Owner you act within the portfolio of IDS products - You define a product vision, goals and a strategy to achieve them - You collaborate directly with the customer, business and development teams - In a close collaboration with the internal users and stakeholders you assess the business expectations and identify the technical solutions to reach the objectives - Bringing together the development team and customer you ensure that the communicated goals are clear and aligned - You identify the user needs and clearly translate them into the product backlog items (e.g. user stories) - You need to cooperate with other product owners and development teams to ensure that implementation of dependent features are aligned - Together with the development team and management you work on a proper prioritization of backlog items considering the overseen product roadmap - You ensure that the development team understands the items to the level needed - You manage development process during the entire product lifecycle anticipating the possible problems and customer’s needs **KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE** - University degree in (business) information technology, computer science, mathematics, economics with IT focus or comparable degree - Experience with product development e.g. as front-end developer or back-end/database developer - Excellent communication skills within a product team and towards stakeholders and customers - Strong analytical approach and the ability to take initiative and to complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines - Customer-focused mindset and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction - Open to new challenges and eager to learn new technologies and to share knowledge - An enthusiastic approach to team work - Fluency in English and German **WHAT WE OFFER** - Benefit from flexible working hours, a home office arrangement and 30 vacation days per year - With us, you can expect an intercultural environment with flat hierarchies, a familiar working atmosphere as well as independent work in dedicated teams - Become part of a company with start-up spirit that combines the advantages of the Allianz Group - Take advantage of our wide range of training and development opportunities and shape your individual career path - Benefit, among other things, from annual bonus payments, additional benefits, health initiatives, employee restaurant and a company pension plan Allianz Group is one of the most trusted insurance and asset management companies in the world.
