**Your responsibilities**

The Head of Market Operations develops and steers all activities related to Mercedes-Benz AG in Europe for Parts Logistics, Pricing and Market management to ensure the availability of spare parts across 16 countries within Europe with an adequate pricing strategy among the involved parties and continuously monitors markets performance and needs over the market management function, in direct cooperation with related departments from smart Automobile.
- You will be responsible for hiring, managing, motivating and developing team members while providing guidance and decisions to enable concept development and implementation of Market Operations
- In line with company-approved objectives, you will set annual goals and KPIs and provide internal communication tools to achieve agreed objectives/performance. This includes ensuring decisions are properly implemented
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing of governance, organizational setup and process landscape of Market operations function; this includes also the implementation and management of several cross-functional interfaces including coordination and synthesis with the management level of other departments and stakeholders
- You steer and control the Parts Pricing along the end-to-end supply chain across borders based on standard policies and procedures (internally and externally) and at the same time ensure the Europe-wide availability of parts in cooperation with the Mercedes-Benz AG organization
- You are responsible for ensuring an indirect aftersales business management model based on KPIs, spare parts discounts and marketing campaigns in close cooperation with Mercedes-Benz AG
- You will evaluating market feedback from the different contact channels and identifying appropriate methods for improvement based on the existing contract landscapes with Merdcedexs-Benz AG as distributor
- Yearly business alignments with Mercedes-Benz AG for optimal allocation of resources and steering guidelines as well as aftersales marketing with conceptual alignment and implementation adapted to EV market reality and system landscape dependencies of smart EU, in close integration with Mercedes-Benz AG where compliance policies are allowed

**What you bring along**
- You have excellent leadership skills with cross-cultural sensitivity; you enable others, inspire them and make wise business decisions preferably in the areas of parts business or market management
- You have solid knowledge of automotive technical Know-How, preferably with electrical vehicles
- You have the ability to identify risks and performance escalations with higher management
- You act strategically as well as tactically and anticipate market developments, innovations, and challenges
- You have a university degree in Business Administration, Logistics or comparable degree; additional MBA is a plus
- You have perfect command of the English language which is a mandatory requirement; any other European language is a plus
