To strengthen our team we are immediately looking for a dedicated

**Scientist (M/F/d) for the area nucleic acid anlytics (full-time)**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Support in scientific issues regarding designs, development and supervision of bioanalytical RT-qPCR methods for quantification of different species of nucleic acids in biological matrices.
- Optimization of PCR conditions for the differentiation of the analyte(s)
- Optimization of sample pre-processing (by e.g. precipitation / liquid/liquid extraction or with specially coated magnetic beads)
- Validation of the method / measurement of the study samples
- Independent coordination, planning and supervision of projects
- Interface between the laboratory and the customer (project management)
- Data processing, interpretation and reporting in English language

**Requirements**:

- Completed studies (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in natural sciences (biology, chemistry, biotechnology or similar).
- Knowledge in analytics / bioanalytics of nucleic acids
- Experience in the field of molecular biology
- Knowledge of a quality assurance system (e.g. GLP) preferred
- Scientific curiosity - willing to try new things
- Fluent speaking, reading and writing in German and English
- Hands-on-mentality
