**VP Finance (M/F/d)**

**Founded in 2014 in Würzburg, Germany, EMnify is a cloud communication platform for the Internet of Things (IoT), transforming complex cellular connectivity into an easy to consume cloud offering by taking the proven superior philosophies of CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) and Cloud-Native SaaS to IoT ((Internet of Things). **We currently employ over 140 people, predominantly in Germany (Berlin and Wuerzburg), California and a support footprint in the Philippines. As we pursue our ambitious growth goals we will expand our international footprint, look into M&A opportunities, upgrade our internal processes and systems.**
**As we upgrade our leadership team, we are looking for an inspirational and business-oriented VP Finance that works closely with the CEO, the leadership team, and the company board on a scalable and growth-oriented strategy for the company's finance function.**

**Your responsibilities**:

- **Define and execute the company's finance operations and commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall business strategy and long-term objectives.**
- **Uplevelling and managing a top-notch finance team.**
- **Establish and ensure the adherence of financial processes that meet all statutory and compliance requirements.**
**- Develop a deep management information capability, that includes business insight, board reporting, sales
- and cost controlling as well as forecasting.**
- **Maintain and/or implement viable IT systems for all aspects of finance and business management (accounting, travel and expense management, business intelligence, taxation).**
- **Management of OPEX, working capital, cash flow and liquidity positions.**
- **Run annual and long-term business planning cycles.**
- **Work closely with the C-level on quarterly review processes.**
- **Assist in M&A activities.**

**Your experience**:

- **You have a relevant master's degree and 8+ years relevant experience of scalable operational finance functions plus 3+ years' experience as people manager**
- **Proven track-record as an executive VP Finance or CFO in a venture or PE backed company**
- **Experience in a fast-paced technology environment (SaaS, Software, Telecommunications)**
- **Good general understanding of all finance subdomains including accounting, taxation, FP&A, and strategic planning**
- **Strong business acumen**
- **You have a hands-on attitude, strong time-management skills, and ownership in multi-tasking**
- **Ability to understand issues quickly and make well informed decisions**
- **Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus**
- **You are an exceptional leader that knows how to inspire people to leverage potential to the best of their ability**
