Welder (M/F/d) in the field of pipe fitting - UK/Shetland

Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to support in the position as welder (f/m/d) in the field of pipe fitting in the UK. This is a rare opportunity to be involved in building the capability to launch satellites into orbit form the UK. You will be involved in the installation, commissioning and operation of systems at our Launch site on the Shetland Islands, with the opportunity to travel to our other sites across Europe should the need arise. Your Tasks
- Welding of pipelines using the TIG process
- Preparing the weld seams and adapting the fittings
- Implementation of the quality-assured welding projects
- Producing the welds according to the required quality standards
- Working according to drawing documents
- Preparing the welding work
- Performing repair welds

Your Qualifications
- Apprenticeship as a pipe fitter, pipe welder or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in welding stainless steel, steel pipes and constructions as well as general knowledge in pipeline and plant construction, especially in TIG welding
- Welding certificate DIN EN ISO 9606-1 141 is desirable
- Specialist training as a welder is an advantage
- Crane licence and forklift licence are desirable
- Fluent English oral and written (all day-to-day activities are performed in English) is plus
- Independent and structured way of working
- Experience on UK construction sites is desirable
