We are looking for an ambitious Property Underwriter who will be in charge of challenging and fast growing key clients in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. Together with a highly motivated and successful market team you have the clear mission to continue developing our traditional and non-traditional portfolio. We expect our staff to be highly independent, motivated, proactive self-starters and team players who will help us meet our divisional unit’s ambitious targets.

**YOUR JOB**
- Assessing, structuring, and accepting reinsurance offers for traditional and non-traditional and / or complex reinsurance business
- Drafting and implementing client and market strategies, in close cooperation with Client Management and Casualty Underwriting within the market team, with the goal of increasing our portfolio’s yield
- Maintaining and improving existing customer relationships and building new ones
- Negotiating with our clients’ decision-makers and brokers, in close cooperation with Client Management in order to expand existing client relationships

**YOUR PROFILE**
- Excellent University degree in business administration/economics, mathematics or law with strong analytical capabilities or insurance-related apprenticeship
- Excellent knowledge of pricing methodologies, statistical methods and willingness to work with non-standard pricing tools
- Knowledge and experience in non-life insurance or reinsurance would be an asset
- High level of dedication and strong customer focus, affinity for developing solutions together with clients
- Creativity, strategic thinking and strong communication skills
- Good team player, willing to share expertise, while remaining demanding when cooperating with colleagues
- Ability to build personal customer relationships
- Analytical thinking, very pragmatic and solution-oriented
- Very good command of written and spoken English and French, or willingness to quickly learn French
- Located in Munich, willingness to travel regularly
