What we’re looking for

As the Business Unit Lead for Events at Milano Vice, you will build up a business line for in-person events & offline presence to a meaningful pillar of Milano Vice overall revenue. Conceptualization of event strategies, budgeting, strategic partnerships, brand building, and customer engagement: this role addresses every aspect of event management. You will play a pivotal role in developing event strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring flawless execution of events that align with the brand's vision and objectives.

Tasks

**1. Event Planning and Strategy**: How do we make events amazing, big and profitable, in line with our overall brand vision?

**2. Guest Experience**: Make every participant “feel” Milano How do we deliver the most amazing, unforgettable customer experience in an economically sustainable manner?

**3. Event Logistics**: Plan and oversee all logístical aspects of events, including venue selection, setup, catering, transportation, audiovisual requirements, permits, and other operational needs.

**4. Budget Management**: Develop and manage event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering high-quality experiences.

**5. Event Marketing and Promotion**: Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to develop event marketing strategies, including online and offline promotion, social media campaigns, and collateral materials.

**6. Team Coordination**: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and external partners, to ensure seamless event execution and timely delivery of all required resources.

**7. Post-Event Evaluation**: Data driven approach to identify measure with best ROI on profitablilty and participant experience.

**8. Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, obtain necessary permits and licenses, and implement risk management protocols.

**9. Trend Research**: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging event technologies, and innovative event concepts to enhance event experiences and maintain a competitive edge.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in general management, event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Track record in responsibility / ownership over events / organizing teams for events with a significant size
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and partners.
- Budget management and negotiation skills to maximize resources and achieve cost-efficiency.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, ensuring a visually appealing and memorable event experience.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for event execution.
- Passion for creating unique and immersive experiences that align with the brand's values and resonate with target audiences.
