The **department for Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy of Childhood and Adolescence** is offering a position for a

**PhD position (f/m/d) in the field of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience**:
**Working hours: Part-time 65% (currently 25,03 hours/week)**
**Start date: as soon as possible**
**Remuneration/Rates: EG 13 (TV-L)**

**Description and essential criteria**

Conceptualize and execute an innovative research project focusing on the neural basis of learning to read
- Recruiting participants and collecting data for a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) study with pre-school and primary school children
- Programming of experiments
- Data analysis of (f)MRI data and behavioral data
- Publication of scientific articles

**Your profile**
- Master's degree in Cognitive science, Psychology, Neuroscience or a related field
- Basic programming skills (R, MATLAB oder Python)
- Experience in conducting MRI measurements desirable
- Ability to work in a team and good communication skills
- Highly motivated with a strong interest in Neuroscience and human development
- Interest to broaden your methodological skill set
- Great organizational skills and a structured way of working
