GARMIN, as a growth-oriented company, offers an exciting challenge and innovative technologies. **COME AND JOIN OUR AUTOMOTIVE OEM TEAM AS**: FUNCTIONAL SAFETY EXPERT (M/W/D) YOUR TASKS: - Your area of responsibility consists of management of functional safety according to ISO 26262 including planning, organization of activities and regular reporting such as creation and agreement of the safety plan, reporting/escalation, conclusion of the safety case and support preparation of release recommendations - perform and moderate safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA and DFA - execution of impact analyses and reviews, tailoring of processes - responsibility for the creation of the technical safety concept - contribution to the creation of architectural concepts in all disciplines (system, hardware, software) - monitoring suppliers in the context of Functional Safety such as scope agreement, DIA, review of work products in case of a distributed development - supporting the preparation of test plans and specifications based on criteria resulting from the technical safety concept - supporting and/or reviewing hardware and software safety related work products in accordance with ISO 26262-5 and ISO 26262-6 - Collaborating with international project teams YOUR PROFILE: - successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification - good knowledge of Functional Safety according to ISO 26262 or IEC61508 (>3years is preferred) - experience with failure analysis methodologies, such as FMEA, FTA, FMEDA, DFA - good experience in systems - and requirement engineering - knowledge of SOTIF, such as ISO/PAS 21448 is an advantage - good understanding of software and/or hardware development as well as integration and testing is an advantage - working experience with V-model development and software quality management such as ASPICE is preferred **WE OFFER**: - Compatibility of family, leisure time and career, through mobile working, home office and flexible working hours - a secure job in a rapidly growing company - an outstanding working atmosphere including twice-yearly company celebrations with a company band - regular activities in the areas of health, sustainability, charity and diversity - own canteen, free drinks and fruit - JobBike and our own company sports program, for example yoga and Bodyfit, as well as a relaxation and creativity room - individual personnel development and numerous seminar offers - 30 days of vacation, special vacations and overtime compensation - Family and Friends program for Garmin products - Participation in the Garmin stock program - Attractive compensation including VL, company pension plan, various special payments and allowances **DEIN ANSPRECHPARTNER**: Human Resources
