**Unser Profil**:
The **Chair of Data & Business Analytics **at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, is currently seeking a Research Associate (M/F/d) who aims to gain a doctoral degree. This position is offered as part time (max. 75% E 13 TV-L) and, within the legal framework of Germany’s law on temporary employment for academics (WissZeitVG), will be on a limited term contract.
The working group employs and develops methods from the fields of Operations Research and Business Analytics:
- the analysis and prediction of discrete data and processes
- the integration of advanced prediction models into mathematical decision models
- combinatorial and nonlinear optimization
- decomposition methods and heuristics
