Senior Demand Planner

The position

HBK are currently looking for a Senior Demand Planner (M/F/d) for our Global Supply Chain Team.

Our new Senior Demand Planner will be in charge to design, develop, implement and run Demand Planning Process for HBK overall, facilitated by IBP tool within SAP4 Hana.

You will work closely with global and local SIOP leaders and be embedded within the Global Supply Chain Team. You will also work with and across function departments including Sales, Product Management, Finance and Operations.

Primary responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include the following:

- Design the Demand Planning Process for HBK in cooperation with global SIOP
- Support IBP setup to facilitate the Demand Planning Process and implement this process within HBK
- Run Monthly Demand Planning Process with different stakeholders from Sales, Product Management and Finance
- Demand Planning process has to cover products from all steps of product life cycle with its specificities
- Improve Forecast accuracy across all product families of HBK
- Challenge forecasts from Sales and Product Management
- Improve Product Availability for our customers in cooperation with Supply Chain, Order Management, Sales, Sourcing and Manufacturing
- Prepare What-If-Scenarios acc. to market and customer requirements

Professional qualifications

You hold a Diploma, Bachelor or equivalent in business administration.

Further you have minimum of 3 years’ experience in Integrated Business Planning and Forecasting in an international company, preferred within one of the following industries (aerospace, ground transportation, energy, machine manufacturer and automotive).

- Strong communication and presentation as well as planning and organisation skills - with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines
- Experience in leading processes and transformation projects
- The ability to analyse data, draw accurate conclusions, and communicate key messages succinctly
- “Out of the Box” thinking, conceptual skills and continuous improvement approaches are driving your outstanding performance
- Communicate effectively and build strong relationships at all levels
- Established self-starter with the ability to drive task completion, resolve questions and concerns, and pro-actively offer improvements to work processes or tools
- Skilled in writing and editing content with capabilities to switch between big picture and detailed level
- Ability to work independently and as an authentic team player - important as you will collaborate with peers remotely in a very international team
- Positive motivator with strong team building skills that help tie together demand planning stakeholders
- Expertise knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, as well as forecasting software (SAP, Power BI and IBP preferrable)
- Fluent in English
