**Health & Safety Specialist (M/F/d)**:

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting continuous improvement program within implemented Group-wide HSE system “ABB way for HSE” (based on ISO 45001) with focus on occupational health management.
- Driving continuous improvement by implementing the Group-wide systems, trainings, the delivery of assistance from the Center of health expertise, and develop and improve occupational health programs.
- Empowering the management team to grasp obligations, liability, and how to fulfil their roles according to law and ABB policy, instructions, and standards.
- Facilitating occupational health management by line management, and ensuring all processes and corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensuring that appropriate health and medical equipment and tools are available and used, identifying, and planning training, and ensuring compliance with the Group management system.
- Engaging stakeholders to raise awareness of ABB’s occupational health & safety initiatives, winning commitment to ABB's goals, and reporting on performance and progress.
- Planning and executing related projects, managing resources, and reporting on objectives and progress e.g., well-being program, resilience trainings, etc.

**Your background**:

- More than five years of experience in occupational health management, working as OHS manager or similar with OHS relevant authorities.
- Sound knowledge of occupational health management, ideally certified occupational health manager or/and apprenticeship or substantiated education in health care.
- Education as paramedic is required or need to be performed on the job.
- Knowledge of standard office software database handling, ideally Intelex, Power BI, and SAP.
- Ability to manage complex issues and work with cross-functional teams.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent German and good English language skills, written and spoken.
