**THE ROLE & THE TEAM**:
As a Junior Buyer in our Premium category, you’re part of a high performing team, creating new and innovative ways to connect people and fashion in our Offprice segment. You are responsible for branded buying, working together with your buying and planning teams.

**WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)**:

- Good opportunity to drive your own Premium portfolio with brands such as CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo CR7, DKNY, KnowledgeCotton Apparel and more. Sourcing new brands, negotiating the best terms for Zalando, creative direction of your assortment, checking trends whilst you manage the existing brands
- Reporting into the Premium Buying Senior Buyer and supporting on strategic partners like PVH, Lacoste & Hugo Boss in operational and functional matters, by creating, maintaining, & preparing orders and making sure all necessary steps are followed through
- Preparation of product-based analysis for trading decisions and gradually joining strategic and trading meetings independently for a selection of brands
- Together with Senior Buyer, being responsible for defining brands strategy including budget and assortment planning. Check your KPIs and partner with the Category Controlling manager for monitoring the OTB and review the performance of your portfolio, making recommendations based on valid numbers
- Stakeholder management and constant exchange with external partners and internal other departments such as Logistics, Content and photo production, Fashion Store, Marketing are key to your work, ensuring that we act in line with the whole organization. You will work cross functionally to drive sales and maximize profit

**WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF**:

- You have minimum 1-2 years of buying experience in the fashion industry, preferably with a background in Premium.
- You have excellent analytical skills, knowledge in MS Office (especially Excel and formulas) and combining the passion for numbers with fashion and trends
- Negotiation is in your blood, and you are always a compelling figure when communicating with suppliers and other stakeholders
- You have a quick thinking and proactive attitude, which also means you keep on top of things in a fast-paced environment, while embracing collaboration. Being able to work in a team as well as being very independent
- You have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English. German, Italian or French is a plus.
