Due to continued business expansion, we are looking for a Sustainability & ESG Director (M/F/d) to support our multinational team. This position is based in our head office in Amsterdam or in Hamburg. The Sustainability & ESG Director reports directly to the CEO and CFO.

**Your profile**:

- Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in an international environment
- Relevant educational qualification, including a Bachelor's or Master's degree in either economics, environment management, sustainability or social studies
- Experience of ESG strategy development and implementation
- Strong communication skills and the capability to interact confidently with various stakeholders
- Commercial, creative and pragmatic thinking about improving ESG practices
- Fluency in English required (verbal and written), fluency or advanced knowledge in Spanish is a plus
- High proficiency in MS Office programs
- Willingness to travel

**Your responsibilities**:

- Implement ESG strategy through our internal Environmental and Social Management System and derived policies on corporate and country/project level
- Develop and execute corporate sustainability initiatives, including certification processes (corporate level and value chain)
- Review corporate activities and ensure compliance with policies, management plans and procedures
- Lead ESG reporting, including Annual Sustainability Reports
- Set up data collection process and reporting (GRI, etc.) in close cooperation with the asset management and corporate finance team
- Work closely with colleagues to facilitate improved understanding and integration of material ESG factors into their investment decisions and throughout the investment lifecycle, covering both risks and opportunities, including regular trainings
- Lead internal team and external service providers/advisors
- Assess the positive financial impact of ESG initiatives in assets
- Support external communication to investors and stakeholders on material developments in the MPCES's ESG performance and credentials
- Remain up to date on ESG trends and developments and translating them into actionable improvements
