**Data Scientist**:
**Starting date**: as soon as possible

**Our compensation package**:€60,000 - €65,000 in yearly salary, €10,000 - €30,000 in equity. Additionally up to € 5,000 p.a. in company benefits

**Your role**:
**You contribute to building the mind of our AI-based MRI solutions.**You implement machine learning methods to automatically analyze MRI data and to produce a reliable prediction for every data point. You generate insights from the data to guide our product development and enable data-driven decision making. By leveraging your love for data and excellent problem-solving skills, you give intelligence to our MRI machines.

**Your responsibilities**:
In your daily activities, you will:

- Train machine learning models, tune and analyze their performance to inform product development for AI-powered MRI imaging.
- Grow our datasets, ensuring their quality through data visualization, image quality metric development and metadata analysis.
- Collaborate with MRI scientists, machine learning engineers and other data scientists to develop machine learning strategies to solve challenges in MRI image analysis.
- Visualize data and perform statistical analysis to enable data-driven decision-making.

**Data fluency**:

- You understand the importance of data quality, and invest time in understanding, verifying and cleaning data and annotations.
- You have a strong statistical and data analysis foundation, and have a good knowledge of the data analysis toolkit (numpy, pandas, OpenCV, scikit-learn, etc).
- You care about data visualization and create user-friendly illustrations to explain phenomena in the data.

**Machine learning and coding**:

- You have experience in pytorch and in training machine learning models.
- You have good knowledge of python, version your code and follow best practices like clean code.
- You have experience with experiment tracking tools and know how to compare experiments and select best-performing models.
- You applied machine learning to 3D data and you understand the related complexities.
- You know how to work with MRI data (including raw data) and its formats, and how to quantify image quality and artifacts.
- You worked with model deployment and challenges of maintaining models in production.
