This position has a hybrid setup with approximately 3 days per week on site.

**Tasks & responsibilities**:

- In your new role, you will contribute to the execution of strategic and operational matters of the Computational Innovation (CI) Leadership Team, as a member of the CI Program Management Office.
- You will support interdepartmental initiatives and project and portfolio management by developing and implementing frameworks as well as report performance outcomes.
- Furthermore, you will improve operational excellence in Computational Innovation by developing, implementing, and communicating guidelines and frameworks for departmental operations and business outcomes.
- In addition, you will integrate high-level scientific and business content and departmental directions, plan and prepare meetings to enable decision-making.
- You will work collaboratively across the global CI organization and interact with all groups to address key operational departmental needs.
- Finally, you will serve as key contact for relevant activities of the CI department in the Boehringer environment, towards internal and other stakeholders and partners.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in the life sciences/biomedical field with several years’ experience in strategy consulting or similar role
- Knowledge and affinity for the data/computational field and/or drug development and pharmaceutical R&D business processes beneficial
- Strong organizational skills and analytical capabilities as well as structured ways of working and ability to define and implement processes and conceptual and operational frameworks
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Proactive mindset and ability to interact collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams in intercultural environments
