To strengthen our internal IT-Team in Boeblingen, we are searching for a Linux System administrator (M/F/x). For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already living in Germany or other European country, due to timely urgency.

**Tasks**
- Install, configure and maintain reliable operation of systems, including server components and software, manage virtual servers in our data center
- Oversee performance of systems and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, running diagnostics, documenting problems, prioritizing resolutions, and assessing associated risks
- Responsible for the health of the production server infrastructure

**Basic qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Linux / Unix system administration experience
- Experience in ProxMox and Ubuntu preferable
- Experience with hands-on rack-installation, commissioning and maintenance of servers and systems; and, creating install guides and as-built documentation
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, NAT, routing and switching
- Experience with firewall and VPN configuration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (spoken and written)
