**The Role**
As our **Legal Specialist **at CentralNic, you will will join our small talented team that works on impactful tasks that are essential to the reputation of the CentralNic Group. As a member of the abuse team, you’ll have the unique opportunity to contribute to the team’s success in responding to abuse reports and urgent inquiries and requests and help making the internet a safer space.
This role will ideally be based in Germany, however we are working remotely at the moment but will be taking a hybrid approach post-pandemic.
**Key outcomes of the role will include**:
- Review and management of incoming legal ticket queues and reports
- Management of domain dispute processes
- Complaint management
- Investigate and respond to abuse reports
- Analyse incoming reports for patterns
- Assist team in improving processes
- Review and draft contracts and proposals
**About you**:
- Bachelor's degree in law or comparable education
- Good technical and legal knowledge regarding IT and domain names
- Analytical thinking, exceptional organizational skills and attention to details
- Capable of completing tasks independently
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English and German
- both oral and in writing
- Be a creative thinker, always thinking “how can we”
**Experience and skills that will help you succeed**
- Experience in resolving complaints
- Experience in contract review and drafting
- Some knowledge in following standard processes and developing solutions for non-standard issue
- Experience with Zendesk is a plus
- Technical knowledge of internet abuse issues is also beneficial

**The Process**
Our process will consist of an initial phone screen conversation over video via Google Meet with a member of our People team to make sure your expectations of the role are aligned with the business needs. There will then be the first round which will be a competency-based interview with the Hiring Manager and a member of the team.
We aim to keep you informed throughout the process so we will be communicative and transparent throughout (which also happens to be one of our company values)
**Location**
The role will ideally be based at one of our offices in Germany. We embrace flexible working and are happy to discuss suitable arrangements that will work for everyone.
