**We are looking for**:
A new team member for one of our portfolio companies, a B2C e-commerce company located in Hamburg. They meet customer expectations by providing a full-cycle customer journey selling complete high-quality, house-related projects bringing nature into homes.

What will keep you challenged?
- Managing a team in close coordination with the Head of Finance
- Being responsible for all accounting, commercial and tax-related transactions within our portfolio companies
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Processing and further developing modern EDP systems and interfacing connections
- Reviewing all of the current business transactions
- Monitoring and processing payment transactions
- Accounting design of new business transactions and digital business processes
- Communicating and corresponding with suppliers and internal departments

Which traits contribute to your success?
- Several years of experience in accounting - preferably in an e-commerce or retail company
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Good knowledge and understanding of HGB and IFRS is a plus
- Initial experience in managing a team or have the potential to become a leader
- Knowledge on an ERP system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics and/or DATEV, is a plus
- IT affinity and willingness to implement and work with new tools
- An intrinsic drive to create structures within the organization
- Excellent communication in German and English
- Please note that we are looking for support in the Hamburg office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
