Accountant (Buchhalter / Buchhalterin)

**About the Company**
A rapidly growing global automotive manufacturer is launching operations in Germany and is looking for a driven and experienced **Financial Accountant** to help establish a strong financial foundation. **Position Overview**
As a Financial Accountant, you will play a central role in managing local financial operations and ensuring full compliance with both German regulations and global reporting standards. You’ll collaborate closely with regional leadership and global finance teams to align local practices with international expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform monthly bookkeeping and prepare financial statements in line with German GAAP (HGB).
- Create and reconcile financial reports for headquarters, maintaining clarity between local and group accounting standards.
- Manage tax filings and settlements, including CIT and VAT.
- Prepare compliance-related reports, including ESG and other regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with external auditors and oversee audit readiness.
- Support various finance-related tasks as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Several years of experience in a financial/accounting role within a large international company.
- In-depth knowledge of German GAAP; IFRS knowledge required.
- Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
- Legally authorized to work in Germany.
- Experience with SAP (especially FIN module) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 65.000,00€ - 95.000,00€ per year
