Team Lead Food

**Your role**:
As **Team Lead Food & Menu Development** you will drive the development, innovation and optimization of our physical product - the food

Together with your team of experts across Recipe Development and Ingredient Development you will be responsible for ensuring that our team develops & delivers great recipes, best quality ingredients that delight our DACH customers every week. Your detail-oriented & continuous improvement mindset will let the teams thrive to expand their and the company's capabilities at scale.

You will be part of the extended leadership team of the Customer Domain and report into the Director of Culinary Development & Innovation.

**Your area of responsibility**:

- **Strategy & Vision**: Supporting the key strategies by delivering on the Customer Domain OKRs & operational bets within the Culinary Development team.
- **Operational Excellence**: Give operational directions & support the culinary team to develop innovative recipes & onboard best quality ingredients that strengthen our product propositions & gives an edge on our competitors.
- **Project Mgmt**:Be the driving force to ensure all projects in the culinary development team are delivered OTIFIQ.
- **Quality Guarding**: Be a custodian for food quality & create products range that are Relevant, Easy & Distinctive.
- **Innovation & Trendspotting**: Keep yourself updated with food fashion & food technologies & adopt latest trends to add unmatched value to our product portfolio.
- **Culture Driver**: Build & develop a high performing culture with a focus on leadership, accountability,engagement,speed & agility.
- **People Management**: Be a people’s person & lead a large team (15+) of recipe & ingredient developers and supporting their development journey.

**Your profile**:

- You have an excellent educational background with food or management or similar fields and proven track record of experience in a similar role.
- You have 8+ years of professional experience as a lead in product development or R&D with reputed brands operating either in the consulting FMCG,CPG or Restaurant/F&B industry with an experience of developing food products.
- You have a good understanding of the food supply chain,sustainability, recipe costings, packaging, food safety etc.
- You develop winning working relationships with cross functional Global & local teams like procurement, food safety, menu planning to align & execute common goals.
- You manage stakeholders across different functions and layers & convince them with a data led approach & build a positive influence.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a curious and self-starter mindset..
- You have strong people management skills with a mindset of closely working with teams & create a safe environment where everyone be their authentic self & help people in their development journey & growth
- You have hands-on experience of working with Google spreadsheets, Google slides,Google doc.
