As the Director of Sales, you are responsible for leading your regional sales team to reach and exceed quarterly and annual targets and enabling them to sell subscriptions for Xeneta. You will recruit, hire, and train your team to perform to their highest potential.You will report directly to the VP of Global Sales and work closely with our Directors of Sales Development, Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and General Counsel to accomplish your business objectives.Ultimately, you should take ownership of your team's pipeline and responsibility for hitting key activity metrics and closing complex multi-stage deals. Be the leader of your division, own your business performance, be empowered, and win while working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.What you will be doing
- Recruit, hire, on-board, train and coach your sales team to become strong individual contributors
- Ensure that sales goals are met or exceeded, asses current and prior individual performance metrics, develop individual quotas, and assign territories for team members
- Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, authenticity, and honesty
- Use smart/modern sales training techniques & methodologies to up-skill and enhance team performance (Diagnostic Selling)
- Provide reps with the tools, strategies, and frameworks to achieve sales targets
- Accurately forecast pipeline in Salesforce
- Work closely with Sales Enablement to ensure consistent sales training team
- Provide feedback to the business and product on findings in your market
- Assess individual performance and suggest corrective actions, as needed
- Continually stay abreast of key industry developments
- Uphold company values and embrace team culture
- Assess current team processes and procedures; identify areas for improvement and implement them
- Manage and scale a fast-growing team
- Travel as required

**Requirements**:
**Your Profile and Experience**
- Minimum 5+ years' sales closing experience carrying a quota
- Experience managing a territory in a direct B2B SaaS sales function
- Proven leadership qualities through coaching and mentoring new and tenured sales reps
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of multiple industry/business and priorities
- Ability to effectively run a New Deal Strategy Session and understand and analyze sales performance metrics
- Ability to run consistent predictable sales cycles and identify new marketplace opportunities
- Ability to identify improvements in the sales cycle to ensure a lean process within a complex sale
- Ideally, experience in scaling a sales team

**Important to note: This is a full-time hybrid position, with an**
