This is what makes our daily work so meaningful and exciting._** For our Division of **Virus-associated** Carcinogenesis**, which is part of the Research Topic "Immunology, Infection and Cancer", we are seeking from October 2025 a The Research Topic "Immunology, Infection and Cancer" focuses on the interactions of pathogens and the immune system and how they drive carcinogenesis, with the aim to develop novel immunotherapeutic approaches to cancer. We are now looking for a researcher in the role of a Data Steward to advance the topic’s research data management (RDM) practices and infrastructure. The position is funded by and part of the NFDI consortium “NFDI4Immuno”, a DKFZ-led consortium of 15 German research institutions and universities, and is part of the National Research Data Infrastructure (Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur, NFDI). Guided by the FAIR Principles, NFDI4Immuno has made it its goal to drive research data management (RDM) in the domain of immunology to a new level by developing, operating, and supporting technical and organizational solutions.
