**What you will do**

Your task will be to support our current project teams in developing, implementing, and presenting new techniques and results. This includes data (pre-)processing tasks, model development, training and evaluation of models, visualizing data and results, and other tasks.

**What you bring to the table**
- You are studying computer science, mathematics, physics or an equivalent field with an above-average track record
- You have very good programming skills and significant experience in languages and packages relevant for Deep Learning, especially Python, NumPy and PyTorch.
- Strong theoretical foundations in Machine Learning and Data Science.
- A strong understanding of and practical experience with Deep Neural Networks, ideally already experience with RNNs or GNNs.
- Experience in the domains of Natural Language, Image or Time Series Processing, and/or familiarity with the analysis of medical data in different domains.
- The ability to work independently, as well as in a team, in a structured manner.
- High interest and motivation to work with various different types of data.
- Excellent knowledge of the English language in spoken and written form.

- The opportunity to write research papers and/or pursue a final thesis.

The position is initially limited to 6 Month. The monthly working time is 60-80 hours.
