As a member of the Cerence Professional Service team, you will have the opportunity to work on a global scale with colleagues from North America, Asia, and Europe. With a worldwide approach to Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC), you will be responsible for owning QA and QC for a wide range of programs, supporting continuous improvement in software development processes and OEM/Tier 1 integration processes, and ensuring the highest quality software for our customers. In this role, you will collaborate with internal OEM Quality engineering, Program Managers, and other stakeholders in cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

But that's not all As a Cerence team member, you'll also:
- Build and lead a high-performing team of Software QA, QC & Integration Managers with a strong focus on automated testing and test organization disciplines to deliver high-quality embedded and cloud-based software for customers- Drive and improve alignment on quality standards across the entire Professional Service organization, expanding testing capabilities to include functional and non-functional requirements and services- Mentor and train team members on quality standards, automation, and integration into CI/CD pipelines, and lead the transformation in testing & integration practices across teams/programs- Develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners to plan for quality of deliverables, test strategies, and deliver software with high quality standards- Align test strategies with Cerence's internal R&D teams and understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective test plans & strategies- Serve as the escalation point for all quality-related issues in customer projects and work closely with Sales to drive effort estimates for new projects- Manage project staffing of the team and plan and track team budget & inventory for all project needs

Who you are:
- Possess extensive years of related experience in software development, specifically engaged in QA and QC disciplines- Have knowledge of QM compliance industry standards such as ASpice, CMMI, ISO 26262 etc- Lead and manage teams of technical professionals across the software development discipline- Implement test automation strategies for several years- Demonstrate strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering teams, solving complex system problems together- Leverage technical leadership ability to foster a culture of innovation and promote best practices across highly skilled teams- Pay strong attention to detail to ensure effective planning, implementation, and execution- Lead teams utilizing agile methodologies with experience in automation concepts, tools, and techniques- Fluent in English both written and spokenWho we are:
