**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
SAP has founded Delos Cloud GmbH to deliver a vendor and solution-neutral sovereign cloud and accelerate the digital transformation of public services in Germany. Catering to the need for digitization in the public sector, the new company will act as a trusted partner providing an open sovereign cloud platform. With Sovereignty and Security at its heart, the cloud infrastructure offering is designed to meet the strict and unique national requirements set out by the German Government’s multi-cloud strategy.
As Security Engineer for the Sovereign Cloud, you manage the physical security technologies and systems within the datacenters.

**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
Responsibilities include:

- Manage the physical security technologies and systems within the datacenters
- Operation and Maintenance of Server and Datacentres Infrastructure
- Provide on-call duty (24x7) support of local Server and Systems on 2nd and 3rd Level
- Project management in own Business area, incl. regular status updates and reporting
- Working on problems and troubleshooting in case of breakdowns and technical issues, incl. fixing and restoring regular operations
- Ensuring that the security measures keep pace with the increase of security exposure for Delos Cloud GmbH as a cloud provider
- Security testing and implementation of new products or enhancements to current products
- Conducts client infiltration and vulnerability testing and reporting
- Responsible for the support of the production environment which ensures the appropriate security policies and practices are implemented and enforced

**Profile & Required Skills**
- You have 5+ years of functional experience within the corporate physical security industry and/or equivalent (i.e., military, law enforcement, security consulting, etc.)
- You have advanced technical or business skills and special knowledge in one / several areas
- You gained profound knowledge in Security technologies and industry trends as well as security standards and regulations, principles, and tools
- You are an expert in managing complex projects
- You have a Customer Mindset and hands-on mentality
- You are flexible and solution-oriented

**Preferred Skills**
- Experience in Governance and Global Corporate Program, Data Center Physical Security, and/orTechnical Engineering physical secure programs
