Our 9 headed “Identity and Access Solutions” team within Vattenfall IT manages and operates the privileged access management & identity and access management system of the entire group and provides the necessary skills and resources for business and IT projects. We manage a variety of systems within the Vattenfall IT landscape. Our goal is to always stay up to date and offer the Group trust, security and automation with new technologies. In line with our IT strategy and technological developments (e.g. cloud services, mobile workplace, automation of robotic processes, SaaS) and sourcing concepts (cooperation with a growing number of external partners and service providers), we enable IAM to stay at the cutting edge of technology.

For our Identity and Access Solutions Team, part of Vattenfall IT we are now looking for an ambitious PAM / IAM Operations Engineer in Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam or Stockholm.

What will you do?

Vattenfall is strengthening its defenses in the Cybersecurity area. As a part of this strategy we implemented a Privileged Access Management system (PAM) based on Delinea Secret Server. Your role will be to lead the operations of the solution managing daily tasks as well as strategic planning roadmap for future functionality and major upgrades. The PASM solution has integrations towards Vattenfall’s Identity & Access Management solution Omada and is a part of the IAM eco system. You will also support in the IAM operational team for daily and project topics.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

- Lead for the PAM team operating the solution and planning related activities
- Assist in the transformation of privileged accounts within IT & Business areas from current security solutions to our Delinea Secret Server
- Operationally responsible for the Delinea Secret Server solution (PAM solution in short)
- Operations of integration such as Omada Identity & Access Management solution and Active Directory
- Upgrades / maintenance of solution incl. communication towards admins (end users of the PAM solution), Lifecycle management planning major OS upgrades etc.
- Assessment of business requirements against technical feasibility including activities, effort, timeline and overall impact
- Responsible for operational documentation and its upkeep
- Client software updates (Connection Manager) lifecycle management
- Coordination with other teams such as IAM, hosting, networking to ensure the solutions stability over time
- Supporting the system manager in the prioritization of the change pipeline and release planning

Who are you?

As our Operations Engineer you bring strong communication skills, an open mindset and an Interest in safety-related and technical topics. You've got a desire to work locally, but in an international environment and the motivation to take our PAM and IAM to the next level together with the team.

Next to this you bring:

- The basis of your qualification is an IT education / study or a comparable qualification paired with IT affinity
- A pro-active and structured way of working, your focus is on the quality of the results
- Relevant professional experience in IT security solutions
- An independent and systematic way of working and a high degree of personal initiative
- conception and further development of the privileged access management system
- Advice and support for specialist departments in all questions of PAM and technical evaluation of technical requirements
- Competence to recognize and explain how solutions fit into the big picture of corporate strategy
- Fluent in German and English language written and spoken
- Ability to work in a team and the ability to work independently complete your profile
