As Head of Customer Solutions, you are responsible for leading and managing a team of software developers responsible for developing and maintaining our ‘Official VIP’ e-commerce solution based on Spryker. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team follows best practices for software development, delivering high-quality code, and meeting project deadlines. You will work in an open-minded, cross-functional and solution-oriented team culture of people loving (e-)sports. Tasks - Lead and manage a team of software developers responsible for developing and maintaining our ‘Official VIP’ e-commerce solution based on Spryker - Ensure that the team follows best practices for software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery - Work closely with the product owner to understand the requirements and scope of the project and translate them into technical specifications for the team - Collaborate with other teams, to ensure that the e-commerce solutions meet the requirements and integrates with connected systems to support automated end-to-end processes - Develop and maintain technical documentation for the software development process, including architecture, design, and implementation details - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, helping them develop their skills and grow in their careers - Assessment, management and integration of external service providers and freelancers for peak demand **Requirements**: - At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on PHP based e-commerce solutions - At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role, leading and managing a team of software developers - Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery - Experience with e-commerce solutions based on Spryker is a clear advantage - Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - You are enthusiastic about software development to provide a premium class customer experience and have a high degree of quality - You are fluent in English, German is a nice to have **Benefits**: - Your new environment: an exciting task in the sports business, a committed team with short communication and decision-making paths - Our onboarding: you start with a position-specific induction and as part of our "Welcome on Board" initiative you will receive a comprehensive overview of the entire organization - Your development opportunities: scope for personal and topic-related development, supported by individual development planning with supplementary further training measures and on-the-job training - With work-life balance: support for work-life balance, including flexible working hours and mobile working, and a free family service for support in all life situations - Many corporate benefits: discounted partner offers and a wide range of additional benefits, e.g. company pension scheme - Our culture: we promote a culture of diversity and "live" our values - regular training and clear internal processes form the formal basis for our open, respectful, and appreciative cooperation
